Have you guys heard of Astral PRojection?
People have connected it to Out of Body experiences, as well as hypnosis.
I’ve tried astral projecting for many years, off and on.. but I have had little success. Why not read up a few articles on it? Wiki is always a great source. 
Another one of the quick google links on Astral Projection points out that you gotta border the line between sleep and awake-ness. How hard is that? It’s difficutl fo ra guy like me who likes sleep. 8)
I believe it started for me back when somebody first told me how she had practiced it. Ever since then, my interest in it was sparked further– I believe she said that her ‘powers’ got stronger when she first projected.
Which sucked, because I haven’t had any success. 8) From my position, I don’t even know if it exists for sure. However, I believe in it. I suppose we can argue it until the cows come home, but it’s a subjective experience– either you’ve had it, or you haven’t.
